  yup, i'm visiting naeb and going to a tragically hip concert, but i figure i'll be up there with the wifey for about five days.

  who wants to party with us?.

  i'm sure naeb has things planned (like getting me smashed and laughing his ass off while my wifey photographs me in compromising positions so that the imcriminating pics can be posted gleefully here).

  jesus, my sister and i couldn't even pronounce our names properly until we started school. i still get in trouble from my mom when i sign something and miss the apostraphe or the TWO capital letters in my first name *grumble*. we just go by nicknames now because it's so much easier to not have to correct how people say our names, spell them, and asking where they 'came from'

  whatever you decide for a name, keep it simple. weird is good, but it's got to be simple. kids usually end up using their middle name instead, shortening their given name or have different nicknames etc anyways. personally i like Daxx :)

  hi friends.. lots going on in my life.

  i've been busy and thus post seldom these days.. my health -- my right leg is still giving me trouble but not nearly as bad as it was.

  i see a chiropractor once a week and that helps a great deal.

  Been here a year...(ramblings)

  yep,one year ago tonight i first posted here.i had lurked for a few weeks,never intending to post,but a particular thread hit so close to home for me,that i felt like i had to voice my opinion.of course,i was promptly slammed as being a troll,but i was stubborn enough to hang around.here i am still hanging,a whole year later.

  i've maybe learned more in this past year than in the ten before it all put together.i've learned a whole lot about myself-about who i am,and why.i've learned about the organization that shaped my life and my family.originally i was shocked by alot of what i read here,and wasn't sure whether or not to believe it all.but looking back,knowing what i do now explains an awful lot of things.

  i've learned lot's about people,too.like many who were raised jw,i led a very sheltered childhood(even more so living in the country,going to a small school).i'm still not sure if this is a real cross section of life,but i think it's pretty close.i'm happy to say that i've made lot's of friends here,some very good ones.though i've had my share of disagreements,i don't consider anyone here an enemy.
